simple life, simple bike
Look closely. Can you see the difference? I simplified my bike. Winter riding in the Paris region is about mud and crud. You spend as much time cleaning your bike as you do riding it. So I went from 27 gears to one single speed... simple. easy to maintain. a clean lined, beautiful mechanism. probably doesn't mean I'll have more time to ride. but i should have more time to change dirty diapers.
Karen's doctors released her from the hospital as soon as I got home. She's been happy to sleep in our own bed this last week... but she's going back to the hospital food today. We still don't have a scheduled date for the c-section. Karen is of course hoping it will be sooner rather than later.
We'll be praying for you Karen and Jonathan. Looking forward to those photos!
