i won't be blogging or answering e-mail 'til september. it's a question of limits, natural rhythms and good proportion. i'll show you some of my photos from deep under the Mediterranean when i get back... btw, as much as i would like to leave you with the impression that i won't be working at all this summer, i will be teaching a 12 lesson series on Creation at a scuba diving camp ... exploring, among other wonders, the natural rhythms of work, rest, and play that our Creator has built into a healthy existence.

si armstrong se dope ... il est le plus fort des dopés. là aujourd'hui, il a tapé très fort. il semble assez clair qu'il entre dans l'histoire du tour comme le premier et le seul de le gagner 6 fois. où sont-ils passés ses adversaires ?

a day of "truth"

today, we will see who the strong men of Le Tour really are... or a least we will see who are taking the strongest vitamins ... the kind that increase one's red blood cell count.

greg lemond, 3 time tour winner, was quoted yesterday by the French daily, Le Monde, saying that the "products" cyclists use today can "transform a mule into a stallion."

whether a mule or a stallion, one truth is certain : today, there will be pain in the pyrenees.

i feel fine

this rainy july is the first in 12 years where i haven't been involved in a big evangelism / church planting event. it's the end of the world as i know it and i feel fine... a holy indifference, if you will.

i just stepped outside my study door to breath and saw eternity promised in a wisp of color... yes, i feel fine: profound gratitude and joy. i feel alive!
