Mission OIKOS sends missionaries from France to the broader French-speaking world. The above photo is of Benjamin Short’s commissioning as a missionary to West Africa. Jonathan had the humbling privilege to preach at this historic event. It is the first time that our Paris region association of churches has provided all the means necessary to send a long-term missionary overseas. Mission OIKOS is Benjamin’s sending agency. Today, he leaves France for Northern Ivory Coast, where he will be serving the Bethel Bible Institute and Journey Corps in Korhogo. Benjamin will also be developing service projects for short-term teams sent from our French churches. Working initially in French, he will be learning Dioula, spoken primarily by muslims in Ivory Coast, Mali and Burkina Faso. Pray for Benjamin.
